Right of withdrawal

For consumers

Last updated · August 2026

In short: depending on the law that applies to you, you may have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days — and at checkout you are asked to consent to immediate delivery, which can end that right early (see below). Either way we’ll refund you if you simply changed your mind. An email to info@rungeist.com is enough.

This page is a translation for convenience. The German version is authoritative. Which statutory withdrawal rights actually apply to your purchase depends on the law applicable to the purchase contract.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded.

To exercise it, you must inform us — Dustin Deunert – deunert.io, c/o Impressumservice Dein-Impressum, Stettiner Str. 41, 35410 Hungen, Germany, info@rungeist.com — by a clear statement (for example a letter sent by post, or an email) of your decision to withdraw. You may use the model form below, but you are not required to.

To meet the deadline it is enough that you send your communication about exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal. We will use the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

How this works in practice: the purchase is handled by Polar Software, Inc. as merchant of record, so you paid Polar and the refund is processed back through Polar to the same payment method. You don’t need to arrange any of that — telling either us or Polar is enough, and we’ll take it from there.

Model withdrawal form

(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract. Using it is not required — a plain email works just as well.)

To Dustin Deunert – deunert.io, c/o Impressumservice Dein-Impressum,

When the right expires early

Your right of withdrawal expires early once we have begun performance, if you expressly consented to us beginning before the withdrawal period expired and acknowledged that you thereby lose the right (§ 356(5) BGB). Those are exactly the declarations the checkout asks you to make, so if you agree, your statutory right can end as soon as the Software is made available to you.

Our promise, independently of that

Even where the statutory right has expired, you still get your money back. Change your mind within 14 days of buying and we refund — no reason needed, wherever you live. That is a contractual promise in our terms, not a statutory entitlement, and it applies on top of any statutory rights you have. Just write to info@rungeist.com. And there is a 7-day free trial before any purchase anyway.
