The operator is a small business (Kleinunternehmer) within the meaning of § 19 UStG and does not show VAT on its own invoices. VAT and other transaction taxes applicable to customer purchases of Rungeist are collected and remitted by Polar as merchant of record (see below).

Sales & billing

Rungeist is an independent software product. Checkout, invoicing and payment processing are handled by Polar as merchant of record. Polar is the seller of record for each purchase and applies and remits any VAT or sales tax due in the buyer’s country. Prices shown to consumers are gross prices including any applicable VAT.

Consumer dispute resolution

We are not obliged and not willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle). For purchases, note that Polar is the seller of record and its own terms and dispute processes apply.

Trademarks

Apple, Mac, macOS and Siri are trademarks of Apple Inc. Docker is a trademark of Docker, Inc. All other product names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners. Their use on this site is descriptive and does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by those owners.

Liability for content

As a service provider we are responsible for our own content on these pages under the general laws (§ 7 (1) DDG). We are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information, or to investigate circumstances that indicate unlawful activity (§§ 8–10 DDG). Obligations to remove or block the use of information under the general laws remain unaffected.
